The story

I am Nathalie Bloch, Founder and CEO of RBK Advisory.

Throughout my career I have learned the trade of Licensing at Disney Consumer Products, I created my product development skills in fashion accessories for Karl Lagerfeld, Cerruti, Fila among others, I had various entrepreneurial experiences and lately I have built my expertise in sustainability in the fashion industry.

The idea of creating my office began in September 2019 with the following statement : Sustainability in fashion in is not a trend anymore but a new path to take in this industry.

As the Future of Fashion was ment to be sharing of knowledge, collaborations, close loop and circularity, ethical and social behaviours, change mindsets, I definitely wanted to be part of this new era.

I already started this shift during my last fashion job at Courrèges and I was willing to fully reframe my business standards and offer new business models to my clients.

Today, lot’s of fashion brands have this consciousness but even if they are willing to commit on a sustainable statement, they don’t necessarily have the tools and the level of knowledge to implement their sustainability strategy.

Therefore the big challenge was to integrate those new parameters into the business strategies of the brands.

Both my expertise in fashion and my knowledge and activism related to environmental and social issues in the fashion industry, brought me to RBK Advisory.

RBK Advisory is a platform composed of independent fashion advisors and I am building a tailor-made team adapted to each mission, to each client.

The specificity of our office is to offer both a strategic and operational field within the fashion industry.

Our clients profiles and needs are :

  • Licensing : brands that are ready to give some product categories under licence or sell the trademark for a category or a region

  • Collaborations & Partnerships : usually co-branding partnerships to enter a new market and/or country, region

  • Business expansion and new business opportunities : established brands that are willing to explore and add new product categories for which they don’t have the internal ressources or skills (i.e, eyewear, perfume, hard accessories)

  • Brand transfer and sale : brand audit to define the key strategic orientations and objectives. Operational brand enhancement system set-up as a goal the future transfer

  • Brand re-positioning & strategy : existing or new brands that are committed to rethink and reframe their business vs sustainability stakes

RBK Advisory is specialized in advising on the licensing activity and support luxury brands in their strategic thinking on this activity.

We support brands to identify and explore business opportunities, to develop new product categories, or implement a new licensing business unit. By licensing activity we mean licensing in the broad sense, which includes partnerships and collaborations.

Our clients are Licensors and Licensees.
